The durations below are real ranges, not marketing promises. The two steps that most often delay a project are council approval and the financing documents — and both can be started earlier than people assume. Several steps run in parallel, so the total is shorter than the sum of the parts.

  3. 3. Concept Plan & 3D 1–2 weeks

  6. 6. Local Authority Approval 3–4 months

    The council reviews & approves the building plans (required for loans or urban areas).

  11. 11. CCC Certificate 2–4 weeks

    The architect/engineer (Principal Submitting Person) issues the Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC), certifying the home is built to approved plans and safe to occupy.

    • Subcontractor work-completion certs
    • Authority clearances (fire, water, electricity if applicable)
