About this house

RHQ-D1-11 divides 4,824 square feet into just 6 bedrooms, so every bedroom and shared space is roomier than usual at this size.
This design suits a large family, or two generations under one roof. On average each bedroom accounts for about 804 square feet of the total area, and 5 bathrooms for 6 bedrooms — usually one in the master bedroom and the rest shared. Because it is two storeys, the building footprint needs only about half the floor area. As a guide, a plot of 5,300 square feet is enough once the building setbacks councils usually require are allowed for.
